The clearing process

From bill of lading to your gate

Every file is assigned a named officer at the port and a coordinator on the road, so you always know exactly where the container is.

  1. 01

    Documents received

Bill of lading, invoice, packing list and permits reviewed and validated before vessel arrival.

  2. 02

    Entry lodged

Declaration lodged on TANCIS, HS classification confirmed and duties assessed with the TRA.

  3. 03

    Port release

Payments settled, verification attended, port and shipping line charges cleared for gate-out.

  4. 04

    Delivered

Cargo trucked to your warehouse or across the border with live tracking and proof of delivery.

Come prepared

Documents we normally need

Clean paperwork is what keeps a container off demurrage. Share these early and we start the entry before the vessel berths.
