Documents and pre-alert
Send the bill of lading, invoice, packing list and permits. We verify HS codes and flag anything missing early.

Declaration and duty
We lodge the entry on TANCIS, share the duty assessment for approval and settle it on your behalf if you prefer.

Port handling and release
Inspection, port and shipping line charges, then release from the terminal or bonded transfer for transit cargo.

Delivery and reporting
Trucking to your gate or across the border, with tracking updates and a full document pack on completion.

How long does clearance take at Dar es Salaam port?
With complete documents submitted before arrival, most standard containers clear within two working days. Cargo needing inspection, permits or duty exemption takes longer, and we tell you upfront which category your file falls into.
Which documents do you need from me?
Bill of lading or airway bill, commercial invoice, packing list, TIN certificate and any permit that applies to your goods, such as TBS, TFDA or a mining licence.
Can you handle duty payment on my behalf?
Yes. We share the assessment for your approval first, then settle port, shipping line and TRA charges and account for every shilling in the final statement.
Do you move cargo outside Tanzania?
Yes. We handle bonded transit to Zambia, DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Malawi, including border formalities on the other side.
